OVERVIEW

Inspired by the short film from Justice Pictures, we are now partnering with ComingSoonJesus.org to create a new television series, one that takes a unique yet respectful approach to the Bible – inspiring conversation. Bookended by modern day situations most of the middle of the show spends time in the Word telling classic stories; Adam & Eve, Cain & Able, as well as Abraham & Isaac. These bookends are meant to help current day audiences relate to the Bible as well as hear and see the heart of God.

The series is a partnership between creator/actor/writer Scott Galbraith, actor Robert Shepherd, filmmaker Shawn Justice, and entrepreneur Duke White, Jr. of ComingSoonJesus.org. The initial distribution will be done through the GoodVue network. After this the episodes will be available on other networks that the partners have representing millions of viewers across the United States and the world.

The team is looking to fund the series through sponsorship partners, product placement, crowd funding sites (such as Angel Studios or TruCrowd), and in giving through the National Christian Foundation and The Impact Foundation. Please keep reading to see the outlines of the episodes, as well as how we plan to finance and distribute it.

SERIES SUMMARY

The six episodes of Season 1 takes a closer look and the mind of our loving creator, “God the Father” and his fallen angel “Lucifer” the prince of darkness. By the end of the first episode you will know where they stand in the world and with each other today. The following episodes will tell you how they got to where they are. Some dramatic licenses are taken but all of the series is true to the holy scripture the Bible. To bring into current day each episode starts and ends in a modern day location to keep the stories relatable with dynamic characters.

PRODUCTION METHODS

The initial drafts of all six episodes have been written. The next step, with funding in place, will be to begin casting and location scouting. Efficiency is key to keep costs down, so if more than one location is used then most of the scenes from the various episodes will be shot there. This also keeps the same crew on the job, the synergy of working together and being efficient. Episodes will be shot with the professional RED Digital Cinema camera in 4K, providing a very film-like look and longevity to the project.

Shooting will be approximately six weeks in various locations. Since some will be modern day as we will choose communities to shoot in, while other locations will require remote places representing Biblical times. During this footage will be sent to our editor who will begin the edit process. The final programs will be scored and mixed down into 5.1 surround, then delivered to the various outlets.

At this time the production budget for each show is $100,000 for a total season budget of $600,000. Depending on how much is raised through the various methods proposed it could be slightly lower or even higher (increasing the production values). A complete budget is available upon request.

DISTRIBUTION METHODS

The current plan is to premiere the series through GoodVue, an ad-supported network. After each airing the series would appear on VOD (video on demand) platforms like Prime Video and Christian Cinema.

Once all episodes have aired the DVD/Blu-Ray disk set would be available for purchase on ComingSoonJesus.com. At about the same time the series would be available on various SVOD (Subscriber based Video on Demand), platforms such as PureFlix and Crossflix. Netflix is also known as this type.

Other streaming platforms are coming online all of the time. The recent rise in popularity of AVOD (Advertiser based Video on Demand) networks such as Tubi and Roku have solidified its place in the market. YouTube is another form of AVOD. Justice Pictures also has relationships with several movie channels on YouTube such as Christian Movies.

The exposure of the Lucifer and the Father on these various networks is in the hundreds of millions if not billions across the world. For those that opt to support through product placement this is an enormous opportunity. The model for revenue in the past was a large amount from one network. Now it is smaller amounts from multiple networks and various methods to achieve profitability.

FUNDING METHODS

Funding a television series like Lucifer and the Father can be accomplished through single source investors or networks, or can take a hybrid approach. The current plan to raise the $600K to produce the six episodes is to negotiate product placement agreements with various companies. Although much of the series takes place in Biblical times the introduction and completion of each show will be done with current day characters and settings.

The second set of funds will come through a crowd investing platform. We are currently exploring connections with Angel Studios and TruCrowd. Each of these organizations are registered with the SEC to conduct special equity investment events. Generally there is a time window to invest, much like Kickstarter and IndieGogo does with their crowd funding campaigns.

With this method ‘investors’ receive their principal investment and then share in the profits if they are achieved through the sales and revenue based on the distribution paths.

Finally, there are newer tax deductible methods to help get the series made. Smaller donations can be given through our account with the National Christian Foundation. The funds raised will be moved into The Impact Foundation as needed. Additionally, larger donations through individuals and/or family foundations will be able to create their own account at the Impact Foundation, or if they already have one, they can choose to invest or grant funds to the series.

Whatever the source the final amount raised for each episode our partners and investors can count on the series impacting the world with the Kingdom message though unique storytelling the series offers.
